The Cincinnati Area Baptist Association (CABA) invests in church planters through services that would benefit them rather than fund them. Here are several services that our Baptist association is blessed to provide to church planters.
1. CABA gladly reimburses your $99 registration fee with the State of Ohio government. Just send our office a copy of the bill and we can send you a check in about 10 days.
2. CABA can provide your church with Bibles and New Testaments in many languages.
3. CABA can provide free biblical counseling. This is for you, your spouse, and children, too.
4. CABA can provide a free logo for your church. Contact Ryan Land (806) 676-7462.
5. CABA’s director serves as a consultant to help you address a need and to identify ways you might be able to help another plant or church.
6. CABA provides a discounted fee for its Block Party Trailer ministry. We have four fully-stocked trailers. One of them has a grill and one bounce house. For an inventory and to register, go to TRESS, the Trailer Reservation System on the toolbar of our website: www.cincinnatibaptist.com.
7. CABA provides free financial counseling services to set up your church’s record-keeping and for family budgeting coaching.
8. CABA provides a consultant for international partnerships that align with the IMB.
9. CABA provides two important meetings for business and fellowship in September and in March.
10. CABA supports church plants by helping them avoid dependency in their additional new church plants as their funding runs out.
JOIN CABA! We are an association of Southern Baptist Convention Churches. Becoming fully aligned with CABA is a three-step process: 1. Send a request with your church constitution. 2. Participate in an interview with CABA’s leaders. 3. Be voted upon by Messengers attending a Spring or Fall meeting.
Giving: We always recommend giving 7% to the Cooperative Program (State Convention of Baptists in Ohio/SBC) and 3% to associational causes (Cincinnati Area Baptist Association) from the church’s undesignated receipts. The two entities are funded separately. Send checks to the Cooperative Program through the SCBO by mailing checks to 9000 Antares Ave., Columbus, OH 43240. Checks written to CABA should go to P. O. Box 54885, Cincinnati, OH 54254.
